Democrats, Once Again Making the Case of Why We Need More (New) Parties

I need to make the point first and foremost here that I am not a Republican nor do I like the Republican party. Then again I am not a Democrat or a fan of their party either because basically the two parties are chocked full of fucking idiots.

Case in point:

The Huffington Post is reporting that in a new documentary by Lauren Greenfield entitled: “The Queen of Versailles” that Florida real estate mogul, David Siegel, dropped off the cuff that he was one that was “personally responsible” for George Bush’s victory over Al Gore in the 2000 election and that "it may not necessarily have been legal." And as you can imagine the idiots from the left (like the idiots on the Right that are all about the stupid fucking “birth certificate”) are chomping at the bit waiting to say: “See, I told you so” have jumped on this in gusto so much so in fact that as I read the story and the posts about it this morning pulling my sorry ass out of bed I had to actually look at the date to make sure that I somehow didn’t sleep backwards in time and that, yes, it is still two-thousand-and-fucking-ten because here they are trying to make the case that Bush was illegally elected and the usual blahblahblah… and how it must be true because Siegel who was -go figure- apparently not happy with the way the film (a film that was about how he [David Siegel] and his wife, Jackie, set out to construct a giant 90,000-square-foot mansion in Florida modeled after Versailles and how their ambitious building project was put on hold following the 2008 financial crisis and not about the election in 2000) portrayed not only his [Siegel] family but his business as well filed a defamation lawsuit right before the premier of the documentary at the Sundance Film Festival.

(I can see the little rats that turn the Nay-Sayers and Anti-Busher’s brains leap into action with thoughts because of the suit that: “yes it all must be true. Otherwise why sue at all.”)

While Huffington Post calls it an unfortunate slip-of-tongue the case can be made that Siegel is somewhat of a braggart when it comes to Bush and the 2000 election. In 2009 Orlando Magazine did a profile of Siegel and he was adamant about his role in the election of Bush, stating in the publication, "It was legal ... I got [Bush] 2,000 votes in Florida."

What ever the case I think it’s high time we move on from this as well as the whole “birth certificate” thing and is he [Obama] a citizen or not shit. Bush’s presidency ENDED (in case you didn’t know) four-fucking-years ago and was re-elected in the four years before that, and Obama is fact facing re-election himself.

Although, this can all be a set up because again the state of Florida is basically up for grabs and if there happens to be another close race that somehow goes Mitt “The Twit” Romney’s way these same people will get to have another go around. Making themselves feel important once again.

The Dying Breed… Companies Not Expected to Survive the Coming Year… And the Just Hated

24/7 Wall Street annually comes out with a list of companies that they think are going to go the way of the dinosaur… that is go under and out of business, and I was surprised on some of the names I saw this time around with their picks for the deaths of companies in the year 2013.

First off, and has been a staple in America and the world for almost the last half century, American Airlines makes the list. 24/7 Wall Street predicts that the once famed airline will disappear by the end of next year for shear inefficiency. While they survived probably some of the worst crisis’s that brought down a lot of competition, however, they [American Airlines] have lost their advantage when Northwest Airlines and Delta merged & when Untied and Continental did as well. The once mighty company now reduced to a medium sized carrier and is in the sites of CEO of US Airways, Doug Parker, whose looking to buy American’s assets and has the backing of the Union as well

Current TV also made the list. Al Gore’s fledging station was already barley alive when Keith Olbermann was still apart of their programming. But when he [Olbermann] was replaced with serial talk show host failure Eliot Spitzer after Olbermann and the Channel battled over perks, Current TV’s ratings dropped almost 70% of their viewership. Now the closest thing they [Current TV] can call a star is Joy Behar, a veteran talk show host in her own right and former member of “The View”. Unfortunately, she [Behar] is coming off a cancellation of her own back in November when CNN’s HLN network showed her the door.

Pacific Sunwear also looks to be on the way out. The retailer no longer has the capital to compete and Wall Street 24/7 says that there is no way that they’ll make it past 2013.

FACEBOOK, however, tops the list of the most hated companies of the year. Mark Zuckerberg taking the company public earlier with a high buy in where now stock holders see the stock drop almost daily. Not only that, but out all the other social media sites FACEBOOK has probably has one of the lowest consumer satisfaction scores, with 25.9% of users saying that the service they receive is POOR.

NETFLIX as well make the list of the hated. Just last year the through-the-mail rental site had one of the highest satisfaction ratings of any company and NETFLIX saw their stock trading at $305 dollars a share. But being the greedy pricks that they are, NETFLIX thought it prudent to raise customers’ rates a whopping 60%. Now in just six months NETFLIX has lost some 80,000 subscribers, seem their stock drop to $90 dollars a share and is now ranked 18th.

Along with FACEBOOK & NETFLIX the most hated companies list also sees SEARS, JOHNSON & JOHNSON, BANK OF AMERICA, AT&T, NOKIA, AND GOLDMAN SACHS. A fitting list to be assured.

Until next time…

Al Gore’s Got Nothing George Romero

I think Al Gore and his new fangled religion -yes, I said Global Warming is a religion, based on faith like any and all religions, and like any good religion it’s main purpose is to relieve you of your money. Why do I think way? Why do I think that’s the truth? Simple. Because as a species we’re pretty fucking stupid. Not just stupid, but arrogantly so. Yes we split the atom; conquered flight (sometimes); hell, we even put a man on the moon. But does that mean that we are smarter than we really are? That good-ol’-Al Gore knows all when it comes to our planet’s plight (he did invent the internet you know)? I’ll tell you one thing: Al Gore’s got nothing on George A. Romero.

Romero, you ask? The zombie guy? What can George Romero have that Al Gore doesn’t?

For one thing Romero was a prophet when came to the zombie apocalypse. And to prove that fact, there happens to be a number of them right outside the door I barricaded. Unfortunately not a very strong door to boot. And me with only a twelve gauge and a whopping six shells.

It all started as situations like this often do. With someone trying to play in God’s playground. And with any good mad scientist/Dr. Frankenstein wanna-be they let their little creation escape the confines of their lab; let loose upon the world to create all sorts of havoc, be damned us all. It didn’t take long for the world to descend into chaos; for us as a species to turn on ourselves when confronted with things that they couldn’t control. The world as we knew it came to a grinding halt three weeks ago. The first cases showing up in Los Angeles then spreading quickly up and down the West Coast. In just under a week the entire western half of the United States was under a military quarantine with new cases appearing in Canada and Mexico. It seemed that once the cat was out of the bag so to say, The Event -as termed by the Government- spread like a wild fire on a windy day. By the end of it’s second week it had stretched all the way to the Mississippi River. The major cities turned into blood baths and the suburbs didn’t fair much better. The stories that came out of the infected areas -no matter how hard the military tried to sequester any and all information -were almost unbelievable. How the dead walked, feeding upon human flesh. And those that were bit turned into…well, with a lack of a better word: a zombie. And if we thought we had it bad, the infection or event or whatever you wanted to call it tore through the third world. Unstoppable. Not long after that it started to appear in Europe. The world now truly condemned by it’s own stupidity. No more twelve dollars lattés, no more law suits and Prozac pushing doctors, no more gun-toting Hip gangster douche-bag wannabes, and sure as fuck no more of L. Ron Hubbard’s Hollywood clones. All flushed away; down the drain to gag and choke on life’s own shit.

Yesterday all communications, from TV, radio, internet, went off line. The phone systems went days ago like a whisper in the night; one moment you had them, then nothing. Nothing more to say. Nothing more to hear except gunfire and hungry growls from once loved ones. But if you’re reading this you know that already. But is there anyone left to read? Hell, does it even matter?

They’re getting closer now. The wooden door frame starting to crack and splinter; being pushed in by the hungry. Time to make a choice: take out five and use the last for me? or, just say fuck it and end it now? Either way it looks like I’m on today’s menu.
Fuck! Her they come.

BANG…

BANG…

BANG…
