Former Nickelodeon Actress, Amanda Bynes, Jailed

Do we have another celeb. on course to train wreck ville?

I don’t know but I sure hope. The pool of celebrity goof-balls is growing a tad thin lately with old favorites either dying off (Whiney. Amy Whinehouse) or getting on the wagon (Brit). But we have a new person to add to the ranks of possible’s.

Former Nickelodeon actress, Amanda Bynes seems to be moving up the ranks from Triple A into realm of professional partier. GossipCop (who broke the story),TMZ and E News reports that the 26 year old actress has been arrested for DUI after she apparently side swiped a squad that she was trying to pass. And when stopped, the officers deemed her unfit to drive and slapped on the metal bracelets around 3 a.m. local (LA) time. As of the moment Bynes is still behind bars with a $5000 set bail.

Lately Bynes has been seen making the rounds of the party scene, hitting several nightclubs a week, (although I’m trying to see how that is different from any other twenty something, I was even known to hit clubs and bars and dives nightly throughout my twenties, and, possibly my thirties. However, this isn’t about me… lol.) and last St. Patrick’s Day TMZ cameras caught Bynes leaving a party at Greystone Manor and that she appeared to be way past the point of no return on the inebriated scale. And a week before that Bynes allegedly took off on a cop that was writing her a ticket for talking on her cell phone to only later to end up at the station to sign it.

I guess with the way she has been of late this latest situation Amanda Bynes now finds herself in is a fitting birthday gift, as she turned 26 this past April 3rd.

Keep up the good times, Amanda. We have high hopes for ya.

Hottie Turned Nottie as Former "That 70's Show" Star Arrested

You can’t say it was a slow weekend when it came to Hollywood’s society of train wrecks. Not by a long shot.

This time around former blonde hottie, Lisa Robin Kelly (42) of “That 70’s Show” fame (you remember that sit-com, right? Ashton Kutcher in the pre-Mr. Demi Moore days) was arrested early Saturday on domestic abuse of her live in boyfriend. She claims, however, that it was her that was roughed up and THAT she was the one to call the police. Saying to TMZ that the man she allegedly attacked ran off before the cops arrived and when he later showed up at the LA Sheriff’s station she believes that he scratched himself.

Kelly was released on $50,000 bond and official charges are yet to be filed.

Kelly is best known for her stint on the FOX television show, “That 70’s Show” (1998-2006) portraying promiscuous older sister, Laurie Forman, who liked to turn the screws of discomfort on her younger brother, Eric (Topher Grace). Strangely, Kelly was let go and replaced in the fifth season and since then has really done much in the way of acting.

However, this incident isn’t the first run in with the law. Besides an arrest in 2000, Kelly was charged with DUI in 2010 in North Carolina where she was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation and fined.

From the haggard look of her mugshot, I might have to add Kelly to my 2012 DEADPOOL, especially after being burned by the death of Whitney. And I say that even with the Connecticut native saying, “I am clean and sober and I have made a lot of progress.”

Only time will tell.

No Love for Bobby Brown as he is Arrested for DUI... Again

Nice to see that Bobby Brown is right side up when it comes to train wrecks and that he is still a fantastic roll model for his daughter, Bobbi Kristina.

Brown was pulled over for talking on his cellphone (what a stupid charge, but Cali is hurting for money) and subsequently taken into custody on Monday afternoon for DUI in Encino, California when Highway Patrol smelled alcohol on him.

Close friends to Brown have stated that he has been having a hard time dealing with the death of his ex-wife, Whitney Houston, in case you have been living under a rock, who died from drowning and cocaine addiction. This isn’t the first time Brown has found himself on the receiving end of metal bracelets. Brown was arrested in 1996 for DUI and spent five days locked up for it. He also spent time in jail in 2000 after a court ordered drug test came up positive for cocaine.

Lets see how long before he takes that last limo ride to the cemetery gates to join Whitney. At least the two of them will leave us another train wreck in the form of their kind-of-brother-loving-but-not-really-related daughter as she talks about getting into the show biz that made he parents into the shiny examples of parenthood that are.
